A friend of mine who has a Laser 128 EX with a 1-meg board is having the
problem of the Laser automatically formatting the entire megabyte of memory as
a RAMdrive upon turning the computer on, leaving no extra memory to be used by
programs, such as for a scrollback with ProTERM, etc.

Naturally, he finds this rather disturbing, but he has not been able to find a
way to delete or discontinue the RAMdrive to free up the memory...

His configuration is a Laser 128 EX, ROM version 5.0, with the built in
expansion board filled to 1 meg, accessed as slot 5 drive 1 when it's a
RAMdrive.

Any ideas or suggestions on how to solve this problem (besides getting a real
Apple... ;) would be greatly appreciated!  Please send replies in e-mail so as
not to clutter the Apple net with Laser requests...  :)
