I was talking from the user's (i.e., _functional_) point of view. As you correctly pointed out, from the technological point of view, the Mac IIci is a totally new machine. As someone else pointed out, the same can be said of the Mac SE and even more for the Mac SE/30. But for the most part, all you get out of them is a faster CPU rate. Anyway, if anyone wants to follow up on this, I suggest we take this private.
