Apparantly the SIMM-sockets output too much radio noise, or something like that... It seems to me that SIMMs could cost Atari Corp. quite a lot more than the <$1 claimed here at the net! This might explain why SIMMs are promised in European STEs, while Atari US are very careful not to promise anything... Kjetil T. Homme
