I have a simular problem.  I have CAD 3D 1.0 (should I get 2.0?) and
the printer/plotter drivers.  I would like to convert my CAD 3D files
to HPGL.  The plotter drivers do this (by definition) but will not
save the converted stuff to a file.  I called Antic and found out they
only answer technical questions on Monday and Friday between 9 and 12.
I actually got through today and the guy who answered the phone couldn't
tell me how to do it.  I did get him to promise to suggest this feature
to the author though.

So, meanwhile, does anyone know how to do this?  Is there a hacked version 
of barrel that captures the parallel port?
