To get through ROS, you need to show the "Eye" that you are a Ninja..
(In the area where you need to transport a Skeleton behind an iron grate
door..  in ROS you have to kill him with rocks, arrows or darts...)
 
This is down the stairs where the NETA way above the DDD starts..
 
For DAIN, the "Cross Key" that you need will be given at the "Value for
Valuables" area... or, if you have lockpicks, you can pick the Cross Key
lock...
 
If you're still stuck, the NEW hintbook for Chaos Strikes Back should be
available sometime in April..
