To get your UNITERM to start when you turn your machine on, you may put the program called STARTGEM.PRG into your AUTO\ directory. Also you make a file called STARTGEM.INF and put it in the root directory. This file has the name of the program that you want to run. This program you run does not have to be in your home (or boot) directory. For instance, I like this combination: C:\AUTO\STARTGEM.PRG C:\STARTGEM.INF and the .INF file has one line, namely D:\GULAM\GU.PRG I put the startgem program so it is last program in my AUTO directory, so that it runs after the ramdisk, the screensaver, the corner clock, and any other good things. When the system boots, I see the icons and windows appear on the desktop, and then these thing disappear as the program runs. I hope this helps. -- Leroy J.
