Message-ID: <33107@shemp.CS.UCLA.EDU> Date: 16 Mar 90 20:32:29 GMT Sender: news@CS.UCLA.EDU Reply-To: kirkaas@oahu.UUCP (paul kirkaas) Organization: UCLA Computer Science Department Lines: 12 I have a program whick executes a ksh (NOT sh) "system ()" call to echo a large string. (This echos a long help string into "less"). It used to work great; now it dumps core. Could this be a consequence of the new ksh? (I get errors like: "/bin/ksh: 5409 Illegal instruction - core dumped" ) Any theories? Not a new bug! Paul Kirkaas kirkaas@cs.ucla.edu
