If you have access to one of those little RS232 breakout box/test set gadgets, it's quite easy to make the jumper wires fit over the connectors on the 48SX. If you're hooking up to a PC's serial port, here's how to configure things. Note that pin 1 on the HP48SX is the leftmost pin when looking into the connector as the calculator sits upright on a table. HP48SX PC pin 1 pin 1 pin 2 pin 3 pin 3 pin 2 pin 4 pin 7 If this doesn't work for you, try passing pins 2 and 3 straight through rather than reversing them.
