A few days ago, I (carefully) pulled out my ST225 hard disk to test a new cable set, and when I restored the old set, the disk no longer worked. The error message I get is: General failure error reading c:. Any one care to guess what this might really mean? (eg "re-format") I've looked at all the cables and jumpers and anything else I could think of, to no avail.
