I am considering upgrading from my ST4096 to an HH-1090 (same size, but half-height so I can get another one later). The problem is my BIOS configuration choices - there are no entries for drives with more than 1024 cylinders (HH-1090 has 1314). There is an entry with all zeros - is that what I use ? How is this configuration info used, anyway (presumably by DOS at boot time ?). My system is a 20 Mhz '286 NEAT clone running DOS 4.01, with a WD 1006 1:1 controller. Thanks for any help; if the question of inadequate configuration choices has already been answered, please email, otherwise this is probably of sufficient interest for posting. Rainer M.
