No, there is at least one possible way around this. There are several programs (shareware) that let you remove TSRs from memory. Generally, you place a marker in memory then load your driver, run AutoCAD, then release the memory back to the marker. You do all this from your AutoCAD batch file so the driver will only be in memory while you are actually using AutoCAD. Look for Take Command on a local bulletin board, there are others, but that's the one I remember at the moment. There are probably other ways to do this, but this should work.
