Apparently the 4144 uses a jumper in one of the last positions next to J-1 (34 conductor control cable); whereas the 4096 does not. I wonder if there is some significance to this because I am running a 4096 on an Adapter 2070 (8 bit RLL) contoller on my XT. It formatted out to 117MB. Thanks in advance, BiLL.....
