The MS-DOS Kermit User Guide has a list of VT-100 control sequences that includes non-DEC color control extensions that work within the MS-DOS Kermit VT-100 terminal emulator. For ftp try watsun.cc.columbia.edu. I haven't tried it myself, but have it in my notes.
