Well, I guess *you* should know, being the author of a "third party product" and all, but the demo of system 7 that I saw would allow users to drop fonts and DAs into a file called System. The file could be double-clicked on and then it would open up like a folder and fonts and DAs could be dragged in and out. I also noticed that new DAs were available immediately they were dragged in -- no need for a restart.
