DiskCopy does seem to be a tad sensitive to things. I tried running it on my Portable and kept getting an Error -39. I eventually copied the image onto a floppy disk and read the image into DiskCopy from there. Everything worked fine. It's a very slick program, when it works. I also shut off all my INITs, just to be sure. Never bombed. By the by, this is a Portable with 2MB of memory, 40MB disk. -David -David C.
