First, what is the dif between the 4*8 and the 8*24 aside from the fact that one has a greater pixel depth. Is it true that the these are the SAME card but the 8*24 just has more memory to support the added colors? If not, then what is the difference between the two? Also what about the memory for the cards? If I buy the 4*8 and plug in more memory (Apple only like the fx or any old SIMM chips?) on the card will I have in my hands a 8*24? Is there any difference between adding the memory and buying the 8*24? (read is the 8*24 just the 4*8 with more memory) Sorry or asking the same question in different ways, i thought i had it from the spec sheets but someone said that both the 4*8 and 8*24 gc aren't avail till June... i understand the gc being delayed due to its radical new design (read kick a$$ RISC chip) but why is the 4*8 also being delayed if the 8*24 isn't??? Or did I get all my info wrong, only the gc is delayed till June? thanks...
