I misspoke.  I was thinking of something else.  CAP encapsulates AppleTalk
into IP, and you need a gateway to do the translation back into Appletalk.

KIP uses Appletalk for transport. 
CAP uses IP for transport.

Sorry for the bad info.  My fault.
