I have a problem with linking a program in MPW 3.0

The output of the build command is:

    Link -o :Electric -c 'Elec' -ss 500000 -srt -d -m main object_files
### Link: Error: Jump Table Offset is out of range. (Error 50) us_pmeachdown
### Link: Errors prevented normal completion.

I'm not a Mac programmer so I don't even know where to look in the manuals.
Also, I didn't write the code, I'm just compiling it.
