As far as I can tell, such a thing doesn't exist in the standard stuff that comes with a Sun. What I need to do is find a particular C function in the .o, then change a certain embedded number whose location I know relative to this. (Yes, there's a good reason for doing this, but I'm assuming not many want the long- winded explanation).
