I have seen this watchdog reset peculiarity on my Sun-3, and I made it go
away by unplugging the ethernet cable.  It only happened when the boot
device was a Xylogic Disk.  I'm not sure, but I may have cured the problem
by clearing the autoboot addresses in the EEPROM.  For good measure, make
everything from address 17 to address 1e 0.
