Could any of you tell me whether you have had any problems with Telnet?

My problem is as follows: I can log into other machines (VAX, SUN)
from the Explorer with no problems, but whenever I try to log into the
Explorer from any other machine, while it is printing the Explorer Herald
I get the message  "Connection closed by foreign host". No problems with FTP
