I'm looking for references to sets of SGML markup tags, in
order that I might design my own set to mark up text collections
that I have.  In particular, I want a reasonable set to tag
usenet news articles, a tag set for bibliographic citations,
and one to mark up the internet RFCs.

I think I've seen references to an ISO document which has
a whole set for use in typesetting arbitrary documents.
I'm not so much interested in this for eventually putting
these documents on paper; rather, this is to support 
a full-text retrieval operation.

Pointers to documents, books, standards, & freely available
code all welcomed.
