Keywords: X Bell Tech Message-ID: <11@dvpdev.UUCP> Date: 12 Mar 90 19:54:43 GMT Lines: 29 Anybody port X11r4 from the MIT distribution to a 386-PC running Bell Tech 3.2 SYSV, w/VGA (or something similar)? I understand the current release supports vga... I would like to do just this. I thought I would query the net before downloading the distribution and trying myself. Questions: -Has anybody done this (and can I get binaries+advice)? -Will X compile under SYSV as distributed (my guess is yes)? -What should I know before I begin (good books, etc) -What other questions should I be asking?? Comments: -I think I have the empty disk space to swing this (the machine in question is a nfs file server w/a 700 meg disk) -I would buy it, but, management won't + that would take all of the fun out of it! Thanks for any help!! -Ken Greenebaum (301)670-9282 uunet!jando!dvpdev!ken
