We are having problems getting X windows to run on a SPARC station 1.  

We compiled the source on a sun 4/260 and are trying to get it to run
as well on the sun 4/60 (the SPARC station 1).  Is this a problem?  

The X system will start up fine on the 4/260 using the device driver
/dev/cgtwo0.  However the 4/60 starts up and then we get the message
   xinit:  connection to X server lost

On the 4/60 we have a color monitor and are using the device driver
/dev/cgthree0.

So the basic questions are:
   1) can the X code generated on a sun 4/260 be used on a sun 4/60
   2) if it can be used, what are we doing wrong
