How is this done? I have a binary of a program called 'mytitle' that does this, (it came with an old distribution of twm) but I'd like to see the actual code itself. xprop tells me that the title is a property. So I tried the following call: XChangeProperty(dpy,win,XA_WM_NAME, XA_STRING,8,PropModeReplace,"hi mom",6); but nothing happened. Am I on the right track? Please email any info. thanks, franco -- Franco Carlacci | "No distance of place or lapse of time can VOX: (403)492-2428 or -2821 | lessen the friendship of those who are thor- UUCP: franco@alberta.uucp | oughly persuaded of each other's worth" franco@cs.ualberta.ca | Robert Southey
