HELP! Summary: What might be wrong with the libXt.a library? Message-ID: <4840@ucrmath.UCR.EDU> Date: 19 Mar 90 01:10:28 GMT Sender: news@ucrmath.UCR.EDU Reply-To: yakker@clemente.UUCP (matt robinson) Followup-To: yakker@ucrmath.ucr.edu Organization: University of California, Riverside Lines: 19 I am having a real problem with compiling some of the programs with the MIT distribution. For some reason, I keep coming up with errors like : <99 src@mays ~/xmtool> cc -o xmtool xmtool.o -lXaw -lXt -lXmu -lX11 -O ld: Undefined symbol _XtDialogGetValueString _XtTextGetInsertionPoint _XtTextSetSource For some reason, some of these files are missing from my libXt.a menu. Now, I didn't end up running into any problems when initially installing the mit part of tape 1, but now I can't seem to get a few of the programs in the tape 2 section compiled, because errors related to XtText and XtDialog keep popping up. Anyone got any kind of clue? (Please respond my E-mail, and if needed, I can post a list of answers.)
