I have built release 4 on an Apollo DN3000 at SR10.2. The build was
fine and most things seem to be working except that some clients can
not find their app-defaults file (xman labels one of its buttons "No
App-Defaults File", xfontsel displays the text string "XFontSel app-
defaults file not properly installed").  'make install' put the app-
default files in /usr/lib/X11/app-default, I can read them, I have 
tried setting XAPPLRESDIR and XFILESEARCHPATH, but nothing works.

Have I missed something obvious?  If you can see my mistake please
