Again, I think Steve VanDevender explained it better than I can. I am only beginning to learn from my own experience in practicing that the dynamics of balancing in a chair are different than what you might think. There's almost no risk of me tipping over sideways, as with a regular chair and forward and backward tipping are controllable because of the fact that I am able to move the chair itself along the ground to compensate for the my own lack of balance.
