It is very convenient while driving. I would also get a CB with an analog noise limiter(ANL). Radio Shack carries such a CB, but it is around $100 regular price. I have a Midland CB(don't remember the model number) with the above specs. I would recommend a K40 antenna above any other. The fiberglass cover one is nice, since it won't rust. Brent H. Besler
