The BCC52 is a single-board mircocomputer that needs only a dumb terminal and a power supply to become a complete system. The board uses the Intel 80C52 microprocessor which can be programmed with a ROM resident 8K byte floating point BASIC, or 8031 assembly language. The board contains all of the following.. - sockets for up to 48k of RAM or EPROM (2764 or 27128) - EPROM programming capability (requires additional power supply) - 3 bidirectional parallel ports (8255 PPI chip) - RS232 port with auto-baud rate selection - RS232 printer port (output only) - 256 bytes of RAM - 3, 16 bit counter/timers This controller board is from Micromint (800-635-3355). They have a full line of products that compliment the BCC52, including digital and analog I/O, memory expansion, relay output, LCD display, power supplies, BASIC utilities, real time clocks, etc. I have used these boards as part of an X10 home control system, but would like to get a bi-directional X10 controller. The list price is $189, but will sell for $75 each. Please Contact: Bob Steinbeiser rgs@bbt.uucp BroadBand Technologies Research Triangle Park, NC (919) 544-6850 x255
