I got this book that The Waite Group produced, but the example programs have lots of real obvious bugs in them. Somehow shakes my confidence in the rest of the book, if you know what I mean. I need a book that is at about the same level as K&R, that assumes that I already know C, and doesn't try to hype the language. Is there such a beasty?
