The C++ Primer by Lippman is considered the best for non-C people, A question on the net resulted in Lippman being "unanimously recommended". It was reviewed in The C++ Report 1:10. The UNIX(R) System V AT&T C++ Language System, Release 2.0, documentation looks very good. (Select Codes: Product Ref.
