I have friends who have had unsigned checks cashed by thier bank, checks signed with the wrong name, and in some cases (over the phone no less ) have signed the persons name to the check (on verbal over the phone confirmation!). The bottom line, is that it is very easy to commit fraud with checks. Laser printing a signature or even a rubber stamp makes me very uncomfortable. Cheers Woody p.s.
