I have written CALC EXEC and CALC MANUAL as described below and will be pleased
to e-mail them to anybody who asks. (Our computer has no ftp facilities.)

CALC EXEC (496 lines) is an on-line calculator in REXX for the VM/CMS operating
system. It knows the usual real elementary functions and some others.
Design principle: simplicity and brevity of program rather than fast running.
Example: CALC  3*2  LN(2)  gives  6 0.6931...  to whatever accuracy you want
(default 10 figures; over 50 is rather slow - our IBM4381 took 0.2sec cpu time
for the above to 10 figures, 2.3sec to 50, for example.)
CALC by itself waits for expressions or commands to be entered.
