I seem to have missed something in upgrading to 1.5.5.  Several weeks
ago I got the 6 upgrade files for 1.5.5 from the net, proceded to
begin upgrading. Of course, as reported by others, I could not patch
the kernel because I was patching against the 1.5.0 kernel and
(according to conventional netwisdom) the patches sent out were
against 1.5.3.  So I waited.  I picked up two other files  include_00
and minix_0/1   and have taken care of that....but I still haven't
seen any reference recently to how to patch the 1.5.5 kernel.

What did I miss?  Has there been a corrected kernel patch sent
out? If so, where can I find it?  (What ftp, what file?)

I need to be able to patch against the 1.5.0 kernel. Help.


One more request.  If there is a kermit guru out there that
can answer some questions about how I can get kermit to do
something, anything!  please contact me so I can send you
some details of my struggles.  term works fine.
