(And that time goes up if I feel a need to stick my oar into the conversation. :-) ) The 1.3 to 1.5.5 upgrade has been fairly smooth, and I got here via 1.5.0, 1.5.2, 1.5.3, and 1.5.4! I tend to do upgrades in big marathon sessions on weekends, and there aren't that many upgrades over the course of a year. In between upgrades, I can choose which patches to apply. Unless there's some specific problem I want to solve, I generally don't take the time to apply any patches. So, while I'm sorry to hear some people are discouraged, my enthusiasm is as high as ever!
