PH can claim the copyrights over the compilation (not the compilation
you do with ACK, but as in ``something compiled; esp: a book composed of
materials gathered from other books or documents'').

That is also the way how a publisher can claim copyright over
Shakespear's Plays. Although he (the bard) is dead long enough not to be
able to claim copyrights himself, the publisher can.
