Every quarter for the past year, sales of the Amiga were greater than the year-ago quarter. Most of those sales are, admittedly, in Europe. Don't buy an A1000 unless price is really an issue. The hardware can't be brought with you, it is an orphan, and probably won't run the next OS fully, if at all. There IS a laptop Amiga on the way from a Germany company called Gigatronic. Supposedly they are working with Commodore somewhat, although I don't know that for a fact. You might want to wait for the new Amigas. They will probably be announced in the next month, but you never know.
