There is an inconsistency in the operation : set mode wrap will put a "W" on the status line border set mode cmode will put a "C" on the status line border & enable fence matching set wrap 75 will give no indication, but will do the line wrap set mode -wrap will turn off the "W", but leave wrap in operation. By chance I had a session on just this topic last night, and intend to mail Andy about it sometime.
