I'm about to attempt a port of the GNU assembler (gas-1.34) to my
Amiga 2000. After that, I'll look into gcc, and if that works, it'll
be onto g++. But this is a fair way away yet. I don't have all that
much time to devote to these projects, so it will be in my spare
time, i.e. when I normally sleep.
