I need to write some midi (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) code
for the amiga.  (It will use the serial port to send signals to a
synthesizer.)

Does anyone know of a guide explaining how to do this, with perhaps
a few simple sample programs?

The reference material i have access to does not specifically
address midi.

Please send any replies to me; i'll post all of the names of guides
later.
