What line ea Some friends of mine have just been basically given an A1000 (the person traded it up for a 2500) and now need either: 1) An A1000 keyboard which is working OR can be made to work (he's not afraid of a soldiering iron) 2) Instructions for using an A2000 keyboard with an A1000; I've heard such a hack exists. 3) Interfacing ideas for hooking a PC Clone keyboard to an A1000. 4) (Goofy idea I thought of): is there a way to redirect standard keyboard input to the serial port? I have a dumb (read -very- dumb) terminal that they could use if such code exists or can be written. Email some replies to me; they have no network access. Or, if you have something they could buy, telephone them at 606/293-5795 (voice) or 606/293-2309 (3/1200 baud). Ask for Rickey or Tracy. - R'ykandar. -- | R'ykandar Korra'ti | Editor, LOW ORBIT | PLink: Skywise | CIS 72406,370 | | Elfinkind, Unite! | phoenix@ms.uky.edu | phoenix%ms.uky.edu@ukcc.bitnet | | "Careful, mom, the toys are loose!" - from The Wizard of Speed and Time |
