I'm currently running an A1000 system and hope to add an A2500/30 in a few days. Since my hardware docs are a little out of date (Aug 1985), could some kind soul check if the RGB-analog out pin-outs on the A2000 are the same as those for the A1000 reproduced below? It would sure make life easier making up a cable for this thing. We want to hook it up to a SONY PVM1342q monitor (kinda neat, does NTSC, PAL, SECAM, NTSC4.43, Y/C, digital RGB, **AND** analog RGB; .25mm aperture grille pitch [better than the sony cpd1201 we're running now] and SMPTE type C phosphors). This monitor takes separate BNC connectors for analog -red, -green, -blue (0.7V p-p), and sync (2.0-8.0 V p-p, negative, 75 Ohms or high impedance auto termination). I wouldn't think it would be too hard to hook this up to the A2000, but looking over the sync-in specs again, I'm not sure. BTW, which of the Amiga sync pins (hsync, vsync, or csync) needs to be hooked up to the sync input on the monitor, or is it needed? (it would be a cheaper cable w/o the sync line, but I don't want to skimp.) Anyway, here's what I have on the A1000 RGB pin-outs, and it seems to match with the info on the cpd1201 input pins.
