Message-ID: <6382@blake.acs.washington.edu> Date: 25 Mar 90 04:50:26 GMT Organization: Univ of Washington, Seattle Lines: 32 Yet another full page STacy ad in this month's EM (Electronic Musician) rag... along with several mentions of the TT.. (I laughed too!!) There is something blatantly ridiculous in the photograph of the STacy running NOTATOR. I asked my wife: "What is wrong with this picture?" ANS: "It is black [ intoning the case was ugly ]" To which i responded: " Look again " *immediate* ANS: "Well, the notes look ridiculous..." Seems like *** 9 *** ledger lines below the treble cleff might be a bit much.... ;-) I guess the "stylist" at ATARI just wasn't up to hitting the "S" key that day.... Then again, why advertize something you know about.... that wouldn't make any sense .. Of course, a musician who doesn't read music won't know the difference.. maybe this is the market for which ATARI is demonstrating NOTATION sofware ..interesting marketing idea... a little backward maybe ;-) ACTUALLY... ridiculous blunders like this make a big difference... Chip, chip and chipped away! -kevin ramsiri@blake.acs.washington.edu BTW: aside from the unjustifiable notation absurdity, the advertizement is of EXCELLENT quality.. one that really catches your attention... ;-)
