After a warm reboot (I think even cold boot) the Harddisk driver is not loaded. 2. I sometimes get an R/W error on the harddisk (which I don't think is a problem of the disk) 3. Drive A: will sometimes be corrupted (root Directory written into FAT sectors, as far as I remember). Installation: SH205, CBHD3.5 Driver, GEMINI installed to autostart. What helps for 1. and 2. is to turn off the harddisk and turn it on again, nothing else. I have some theories about the problems: 1. a virus (I don't think so!) 2. A bad driver blocking the DMA (CLAUS BROD, are you on the list?) 3. A memory allocation failure of the TOS 4. A floppy vbl routine that blocks DMA 5. A critical error handler that does something wrong The #3 problem may have been caused by me formatting disks under MSDOS, so that a mediachange was ignored (no different serial numbers in the boot sector). So I don't complain about that. But there's another mystery: After autoboot of GEMINI (which lives in C:\DIV\GEMINI on my harddisk) the first file selector box will only show the subdirectory; the only possibility to get to the root directory is to click on drive C, the closer box does not work. Anyone else with nice little theories? Wolfgang
