Does anybody out there have 'Red Storm Rising' for the C64?  I have a 
copy and I suspect that it is partially responsible for the recent 
damage to my 1541 drive.  You see, this game causes the heads to bang, 
click, clunk, and  generally create a lot of noise as well as 
vibration.  Shortly after buying the game (and playing it a fair bit) 
my drive died.  I took it to a technician who reseated all the ICs 
(the suppected problem which was caused by excessive movement of the 
heads -- or so he said) but the problem still exists?  Has this 
happened to anybody else?
