I happened to be considering buying extra memory for my HP-48SX and my NeXT at the same time. 128K bytes for the HP costs only a little less than 4M bytes for the NeXT (about $200 mail order vs. $236 mail order). I realize that the 4 meg won't run off of a battery for a year, but then the 128K doesn't have a 100 nS access time either.
