As of 2 weeks ago, the date never gets set on boot-up. It always comes up as 1/1/80. This means that the date on new files is set to this. I've checked that the real-time clock is alright (by using the SETUP program). I've also tried a program that gets the time from DOS (function 2ah; int 21h) and that checks out okay too. It's only when I type "date" at the command prompt and the time/date stamp on files that are messed up. Any ideas, suggestions, solutions,... Thanks.
