  I have two general questions about NFS for PC's.

1) Do all of the NFS/PC products require the installation of
   an authentication daemon on the NFS servers?  We are trying
   to get the pc to mount disks on an IBM/MVS mainframe and the
   mainframe does authentication a little differently.

2) Is the such a thing as a public domain NFS client for the 
   PC?
