If other files are already marked, it is awkward to view the next unmarked file--the view facility wants to start viewing with the first marked file. Consequently I have moved to WindowDos 3. Blindingly fast, can show up to 80 filenames on the sceen, saves trees (providing you don't change drives), is small (about 54K) and totally memory resident, has a very fast text that is effortless to get into. I no longer bother calling external text editors from comm programs. I can even pop up over memory hogs such as PC SAS, Word Perfect 5.1, Lotus. All the non- power users in our lab swear by it.
